Episode 45: More about programming and Python

In this episode I clean up a couple of loose ends from the last episode and add a few more reasons I encourage Python as the language of choice for learning programming.
I have personally used Python for several things.  1st was the program described in the Audio where I used Python to connect to and run a MySQL database.
In my last job I had a repository of information for maintenance men located on a “web site” in a computer.   While modifying this information I had a copy on my own computer and then a third copy was on a server that was continually backed up.  A very simple Python program allowed me to quickly compare these three locations to know which which files needed updating.
It is very powerful software and very well documented and the price is very right.  $0.00.
