Episode 23 – Standards, codes, laws, and specifications.

Today I attempt to poke a minor jab at a very big subject.   This is the part of creating and making things that is just about as much fun as taking a beating, but it is probably a subject that needs to be tackled.   Many standards are expensive to buy, but I have found one that is related to the subject we have talked about several times so far, lumber sizes, and it is free!  (Free is a very good price. 🙂 )  It talks about several other things related to lumber and is a good example of what standards look like.  This is a free pdf file.  The American Lumber Standard Committee, Incorporated. American Softwood Lumber Standard PS 20

The second site I will link is the OSHA CFR 1910 link site.   Again all this information is free for your viewing and downloading … (If you want it…. 😀 )
